Rupani invites American firms to invest in Gujarat; pitches for cooperation

Current Affairs :Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Thursday pitched for close participation with the US in offering impulse to new companies and stated that the rich diaspora of Gujaratis in America was a declaration of developing shared trust between the two nations. 

Tending to the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum through video conferencing, Rupani said Gujarat’s ‘sister state’ concurrences with New Jersey and Delaware declared another period of improved and expanded cooperation between “our two nations.” 

He stated that the developing speculation of US businesses in Gujarat and a rich diaspora of Gujaratis in the USA is a declaration of “our developing common trust”. 

“I propose formalizing the startup commitment program and naming a nodal official to encourage speculation by American organizations in Gujarat. We need to develop with the US together,” he said. 

“USA and India are one. Fringes don’t exist between us. The developing speculation of US businesses in Gujarat and a rich diaspora of Gujaratis in the USA is a declaration of our developing common trust,” Rupani said.
