Sisodia tried to scare by claiming Delhi would have 550,000 cases: BJP

Current Affairs : Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had attempted to “alarm” individuals by guaranteeing that COVID-19 cases in Delhi will arrive at 5.5 lakh by July 31, yet the circumstance was managed with the intercession of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the city BJP unit said on Friday.

Delhi BJP president Adesh Gupta in a question and answer session asked the Arvind Kejriwal government to respond in due order regarding what valid reason it had attempted to “alarm” individuals with Sisodia asserting that there would be 5.5 lakh coronavirus cases by July 31.
There was no prompt response from Sisodia or the AAP on the issue.
The national capital has seen a drop in the quantity of dynamic cases in the course of recent days.
On Thursday, Delhi had 10,743 dynamic cases, down from 10,770 on Wednesday, 10,887 on Tuesday, 10,994 on Monday and 11,904 on Sunday. The quantity of dynamic cases was 27,007 on July 1, as indicated by wellbeing division releases.
