NPR will happen in Maharashtra, nothing controversial about it: Uddhav

Current Affairs: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday said he won’t obstruct the National Population Register (NPR) in the state.
Thackeray guaranteed that he will “actually check the sections” in the NPR, including there shouldn’t be any issue with the activity in Maharashtra.
“CAA and NRC are unique and NPR is extraordinary. Nobody needs to stress if CAA gets executed. NRC isn’t there and won’t be actualized in the state,” Thackeray tweeted.
NPR will occur in the state as there is nothing dubious about it, he said.
Thackeray said he won’t permit NRC to be actualized in the state.
“In the event that NRC is actualized, at that point it will influence Hindus or Muslims as well as Adivasis. NPR is an enumeration, and I don’t find that anybody will be influenced as it happens at regular intervals,” he said.
