Defence Ministry has nearly 40,000 vacant posts for officers: Govt in RS

In a composed answer to an inquiry, he said there are 6,867 opportunities for posts of officials in the Indian Army, 1,500 in Navy and 425 in Air Force.
In Army, 36,517 opportunities are for post of junior dispatched officials and different positions, Naik told the Rajya Sabha.
He included that 15,590 posts of mariner and 10,425 posts of pilots are empty in the Navy and Air Force individually.
“The legislature has taken various measures to diminish the deficiencies. These incorporate continued picture projection, interest in profession fairs and shows and exposure crusade to make mindfulness among the adolescent on the benefits of taking up a difficult and fulfilling vocation,” he said.
