Coronavirus: IAF aircraft brings 76 Indians, 36 foreigners from Wuhan

Current Affairs:An Indian Air Force airplane on Thursday emptied 76 Indians and 36 remote nationals from the coronavirus-hit Chinese city of Wuhan.
The C-17 Globemaster III vehicle airplane was sent to Wuhan on Wednesday and it conveyed 15 tons of clinical supplies for coronavirus-influenced individuals in China.
On its arrival, the airplane brought back 112 individuals including 23 residents from Bangladesh, six from China, two each from Myanmar and the Maldives and one each from South Africa, the US and Madagascar.
Prior, India had emptied around 650 Indians from Wuhan in two Air India flights.
“In each of the 723 Indian nationals and 43 remote nationals have been cleared from Wuhan, China in these three flights,” the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.
On the clinical supplies conveyed by India to China, the MEA said they will help increase the nation’s endeavors to control the coronavirus episode which has been announced as a general wellbeing crisis by the World Health Organization.
“The help is additionally a characteristic of fellowship and solidarity from the individuals of India towards the individuals of China as the two nations likewise celebrate 70th commemoration of foundation of strategic relations this year,” it said.
