'Respond or pay for damages': UP police notice to 60 people over CAA stir

The Rampur organization gave notification to 28 individuals on Tuesday after harm of about Rs 25 lakh was surveyed over the area by the police and the organization, they said.
Police had at first said that the harm caused was worth around Rs 15 lakh yet the last evaluation put the figure at Rs 25 lakh, they included.
“Notification have been given to 28 individuals who have been distinguished for brutality during the fights. They have been given seven days’ an ideal opportunity to react why move ought not be made against them, bombing which, procedures will be started to recoup cash from them for decimation of open and private property,” District Magistrate Rampur Aunjaneya Singh told PTI.
A 22-year-elderly person kicked the bucket of slug damage in Rampur on Saturday during fierce fights against the revised Citizenship Act. A few local people and cops were harmed, and six vehicles, including a police cruiser, were burnt, as indicated by authorities.
