Current Affairs News:Another enlistment tag ‘LA’ has been allocated for vehicles to be enrolled in Ladakh, the administration has said.
The Center had on August 5 revoked Article 370 arrangements in the Constitution that allowed extraordinary status to Jammu and Kashmir, bifurcating the state into two Union domains of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, which appeared on October 31.
“In exercise of the forces gave by … the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, the Central Government thus makes the accompanying further revisions in the warning of Government of India in the then Ministry of Surface Transport number S.O. 444(E), dated the twelfth June, 1989, to be specific :- 1. In the Table to the said warning, after sequential number 17 and the passages relating thereto, the accompanying sequential number and elements will be embedded, to be specific:- “17A. Ladakh LA”,” a paper notice by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said.
Ladakh, is the second biggest association domain. It comprises of two locale of Kargil and Leh.
The Leh region of the new UT of Ladakh has been characterized in the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization (Removal of Difficulties) Second Order, 2019, gave by the President of India, to incorporate the zones of the locale of Gilgit, Gilgit Wazarat, Chilhas and Tribal Territory of 1947, notwithstanding the rest of the regions of Leh and Ladakh areas of 1947, in the wake of cutting out the Kargil District.
