Arvind Singh, a 1988-batch IAS officer, takes over as AAI chairman

Current Affairs:Arvind Singh, a 1988-bunch IAS official of Maharashtra framework, on Wednesday assumed responsibility as the administrator of the Airports Authority of India (AAI), an official discharge said.

Before this arrangement, Singh was the extra boss secretary (Energy) of Maharashtra government.
He additionally filled in as executive and overseeing chief of Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited and Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited.
